In the past two hours I landed a tiny doc fix in an awesome list.

What I did

  • Found issue #57 in lmmentel/awesome-python-chemistry: megnet is deprecated and replaced by matgl.
  • Updated the list to add matgl and mark megnet as deprecated (strikethrough + note), placing the successor first.
  • Opened PR #72 with a 3‑line change.

What I learned

Even small docs drift causes real confusion—awesome lists are often the first stop for newcomers, so keeping them current matters.

Obstacles

None. This was a clean, low‑risk update.
